FORNAX MULTI-OIL BOILERS

FORNAX steel water boilers with CBW type burners are adapted for combustion of used engine oil (and its mixtures), machine, gear, hydraulic and turbine oil, vegetable oil and common fuel oil.

Due to its modified triple structure it is possible to obtain high power with relatively small boiler dimensions.

Advantages of FORNAX boilers

• combustion with minimum contaminant emission due to low load of combustion chamber, reduction of nitrogen oxides and triple exhaust system
• low resistance of water flow in boiler and original solution of water return to boiler, allowing for its operation without limiting the return water temperature and necessity of using boiler circuit pump
• possibility of easy transport into boiler room due to narrow body
• optimisation of combustion chamber shape and dimensions.

Boiler operation consists of automatic initiation of combustion process and water heating to the temperature set by user. When water reaches the required temperature, the boiler switches off. The next initiation will take place automatically, when the water temperature drops into the range of thermostat inertia limits.

A properly selected boiler in the heating season should operate for approximately 6 – 10 hours a day, using appropriate amount of fuel for the given boiler power. The boiler operation time and fuel consumption depend on the quality of thermal insulation of the heated building and the external temperature.

Each boiler model is available with CBW type multi-oil burners from TEC company.

Boilers with CBW type burners are adapted for the combustion of used engine oil (and its mixtures), machine, gear, hydraulic and turbine oil, vegetable oil and common fuel oil. Use of transformer oil is prohibited. Oils do not require filtering, tank with clarifier and oil line filters are suitable for failure-free operation for a long time. The combustion chamber and combustion tubes must be cleaned every few months (approx. 500 – 700 hours of operation). This procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.

The standard boiler version includes:

• steel boiler body,
• high temperature safety switch,
• main switch,
• simple automatic control system with supply thermostat,
• electrical safety switch,
• current protection,
• burner set (oil supply pumping unit, oil line check valve, oil filters, oil and air heating systems, oil and air pressure control system, suction line connection pipes).

The control system may, of course, be expanded according to the investor’s requirements.

The heat exchanger is covered by a 5 year warranty.
